It's an excellent source of animal fat that conta ins a little more muscle and connective tissue pieces relative to suet. It has a variety of uses outside of being a healthy and hearty source of fat in your diet. *Please note that Beef Fat Trimmings are not the same as suet and should not be rendered down to make tallow.
