The cleanest, simplest formula in our lotion lineup. Our Natural Unscented Beef Tallow Lotion contains just eight ingredients — beef tallow, organic olive oil, organic sunflower oil, arrowroot, vitamin E, non-GMO emulsifying wax, distilled water, and a natural preservative. No essential oils, no clays, no specialty additives. This is the formula we recommend for babies, young children, highly sensitive skin, or anyone who wants effective, everyday hydration without anything extra. Ships from Texas. In hot weather a jar can arrive soft or melted. It is not ruined. Here is the one-hour fix, or email us for a no-questions-asked replacement. Arrowroot gives the lotion a smooth, non-greasy feel. Organic sunflower oil provides a lighter touch alongside the tallow, making this feel more like a traditional lotion than a balm. Because it's fragrance-free and minimal, it's the right starting point for people who have reactions to other products or who simply want to know exactly what they're putting on their skin. Why Tallow Beef tallow has a fatty acid composition — primarily oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids — that closely mirrors your skin's own sebum. This structural compatibility means it absorbs readily, hydrates without clogging pores, and delivers fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K that most conventional lotions cannot provide. Unlike petroleum-derived moisturizers that sit on the surface, tallow works with your skin's biology. ● Fatty acid profile compatible with human skin's natural oils ● Delivers fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K directly to skin ● Absorbs without clogging pores ● No petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrance, or unnecessary fillers What Makes This Lotion Different ● 8 ingredients — the simplest formula in our lotion range ● Fragrance-free — no essential oils, suitable for the most sensitive skin ● Safe for babies and young children ● Neutral scent makes it easy to layer under other products or use at any time of day Perfect For Sensitive skin, reactive skin, or eczema-prone skin Babies, toddlers, and young children Daily full-body moisturizing after showering Anyone who prefers fragrance-free skincare Common Questions Will tallow clog my pores? No. Beef tallow's fatty acids closely resemble your skin's natural sebum. It absorbs rather than sitting on top, and does not have the comedogenic profile that many plant oils (like coconut oil) carry. Is this truly safe for babies?Yes. The formula contains no synthetic fragrance, no parabens, and no harsh preservatives. Many parents use it as a daily baby lotion. Is there a transition period? Some people notice their skin adjusts over 1–2 weeks when switching from conventional lotions. Skin may temporarily produce more oil as it recalibrates. This is normal and resolves on its own.
