The other day, I was in Montreal and faced with a cooler of beers I'd never heard of. I picked a really random assortment, and when I started drinking them, I realized why beer sno bs are a thing. There are so many ways to ferment hops and barley and they produce totally unpredictable flavors and levels of carbonation.
