Itโs fresh scent calms and fortifies nerves, soothing stress and anxiety, and giving an instant boost to tired minds Ginger essential oil: antiseptic and antioxidant ginger has been used as a medicinal ingredient for thousands of years. It boosts circulation and provides warmth to revive tired, sore muscles. Gingerโs comforting, warming scent helps to lift fatigue and reduce feelings of stress and is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat emotional issues such as anxiety and low self confidence. Oats: packed with antioxidants, calming oats act as a natural cleansing agent that doesnโt affect the skinโs pH balance, helping to maintain the skinโs moisture barrier to protect and heal dry skin. We use both finely ground and whole oats in our soap to gently exfoliate the skin. Beer: containing beneficial B vitamins to help prevent ageing and combat skin irritation beer also naturally colours soap a beautiful, mellow amber. I use the brilliant range of Stroud Brewery beers. To ensure your soap lasts as long as possible, make sure it never sits in a puddle of water. Use a soap dish to allow air to flow around the soap, keeping it dry and longer lasting. College Green soaps are all cut by hand. Each bar weighs a minimum of 100g โ some will be heavier. I use a traditional cold process method which creates a glycerine-rich soap, then cure each bar for a minimum of four weeks to create a beautifully mild, long lasting bar of soap.
