Beeswax is a wonderful animalic product for perfumery. It contributes a softness and natural rounding of scents as well as being a long lasting fixative. The biggest annoyance with Beeswax Absolute is the difficult in dissolving it and the fact that it is mostly insoluble waxes that must ultimately be chilled and filtered from your fragrance. But not so with our incredible Beeswax Absolute Glacé from LMR. In a special process LMR processes this absolute with a technique they call glazing. That process involves freezing the beeswax absolute and removing insoluble matter so what you are left with is pure beeswax odour with guaranteed solubility. Discarding nearly 75% of the non-useful material does come at a price: this absolute is an incredibly expensive product. But oh what a product it is. We love it, we use it and we heartily recommend it. In fact, this is the only Beeswax absolute we use at Fraterworks and Frater Perfumes; nothing else comes close in quality and usability. Splurge: your fragrances are worth it. “Their musk encroaches, circle after circle,A well of scents almost too dense to breathe in." — Sylvia Plath, The Beekeeper's Daughter Origin: FrancePart: BeeswaxProcess: Solvent extraction followed by speciality freeze filtering
