Details 13 Inches Tall 1 Pound SKU: 333 Handcrafted with love by Artisans in Chalfont, PA StoryAccording to legend, Befana visits children across Italy, filling their shoes with candy and treats if they’ve been good—or leaving coal, or even a stick, if they’ve misbehaved. As a house-proud visitor, she often sweeps the floor before she departs, symbolically sweeping away the hardships of the year. Families traditionally leave a bit of food and wine for her arrival.
