The next generation of fluoride-free tooth care. Before's Nano-Hydroxyapatite Whitening Toothpaste uses the highest grade nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA) available - a bioidentical form of the mineral that makes up 97% of tooth enamel - to remineralize, strengthen, and whiten teeth from within, without fluoride and without compromise. Where conventional whitening toothpastes work by lifting stains from the surface, n-HA goes further. It fills microscopic cracks and lesions in the enamel, restores mineral density lost through acid exposure or daily wear, reduces sensitivity, and delivers a visibly whiter, smoother result over time. Paired with xylitol, arginine, zinc, and organic aloe vera, this is a formula that addresses the full picture of oral health - not just the cosmetic surface. The same commitment to clean runs through every Before product: free of SLS, SLES, parabens, PEGs, peroxide, and artificial flavours and colours. Packaged in Before's plant-based sugarcane tube - 100% recyclable, 50% lower carbon footprint than conventional plastic. Available in a full-size 100ml and TSA-approved 20ml travel size. Vegan, Leaping Bunny certified, gluten-free, and proudly made in Vancouver, Canada. Who's It For Anyone who wants to go beyond surface whitening and invest in the long-term structural health of their teeth. Particularly well-suited to those with sensitivity, early enamel wear, or anyone making the transition away from fluoride who wants a scientifically supported alternative. The 20ml travel size makes it easy to stay consistent wherever the day takes you. Flavour Profile Bold, bright, and long-lasting. The SuperMint flavour delivers the same ultra-cool peppermint, spearmint, and menthol combination that Before is known for - clean, intense, and refreshing well past the brush. Key Benefits Remineralizes and Strengthens Enamel - Nano-hydroxyapatite fills microscopic cracks and lesions in the enamel, restoring mineral density and structural integrity with regular use. Whitens From Within - n-HA smooths and fills the enamel surface for a visibly whiter, glossier result that goes beyond surface stain removal. Reduces Sensitivity - By sealing exposed dentinal tubules and restoring enamel density, n-HA helps reduce the sensitivity caused by acid wear, temperature, and daily abrasion. Supports Oral Microbiome Health - Xylitol, arginine, and zinc neutralize acids, inhibit harmful bacteria, and maintain a balanced oral environment. Soothes and Strengthens Gums - Organic aloe vera calms gum tissue and delivers antioxidant support with every brush. Fluoride-Free Remineralization - Provides a science-backed alternative to fluoride for enamel protection and repair, using a mineral bioidentical to tooth structure. Available in Travel Size - The 20ml tube meets TSA carry-on requirements for an uninterrupted routine on the road. Industry-First Sustainable Packaging - Plant-based sugarcane tube is 100% recyclable and produces 50% fewer carbon emissions than conventional plastic toothpaste tubes. Key Ingredients Nano-Hydroxyapatite (n-HA) - A bioidentical form of the primary mineral in tooth enamel and dentine. Fills microscopic surface cracks, restores mineral density, reduces sensitivity, and delivers whitening results by smoothing and strengthening the enamel surface rather than bleaching it. Xylitol (*Organic) - A natural sugar alcohol that actively inhibits the bacteria responsible for tooth decay while supporting a balanced and healthy oral microbiome. Hydrated Silica - A low-abrasion mineral that gently polishes surface stains and supports the whitening activity of the n-HA. Arginine - An amino acid that helps neutralize acids in the mouth, supports remineralization, and promotes long-lasting freshness between brushing. Zinc Oxide - Fights harmful bacteria, reduces plaque buildup, and supports healthy gum tissue. Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) (*Organic) - Soothes gum tissue, reduces inflammation, and delivers antioxidant support for overall oral health. MCT Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride) - A natural antimicrobial agent that supports oral microbiome balance and contributes to the formula's smooth, non-drying texture. Peppermint Oil (Mentha Piperita) - Delivers the primary bright, clean mint character with natural antibacterial properties. Spearmint Oil (Mentha Spicata) (*Organic) - Adds a softer, sweeter mint dimension that rounds out the SuperMint cooling profile. Menthol (from Wild Mint Leaf) - The key driver of SuperMint's signature long-lasting cool sensation. How To Use Apply a pea-sized amount to a wet toothbrush. Brush thoroughly for at least one minute, preferably after each meal or as directed by a dentist. Do not swallow. Children under 6 should use a pea-sized amount under adult supervision. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use in children under 2 years of age. Should be used as part of an oral health routine that includes regular flossing and dental check-ups. How To Recycle Carefully cut open and thoroughly rinse the inside of the tube. Confirm there is no toothpaste residue remaining. Place the tube and cap in your recycling bin. Why MASC Recommends This Nano-hydroxyapatite has a growing body of research behind it as a fluoride alternative for enamel remineralization - and the grade of n-HA Before uses here is genuinely high quality, which matters because not all n-HA formulations are equivalent. The remineralization and sensitivity-reduction benefits are structural rather than cosmetic, which sets this apart from a standard whitening toothpaste. For anyone who has been looking for a fluoride-free formula with real science behind the enamel protection claim, the n-HA toothpaste is a considered and well-executed option. The 20ml travel size removes any excuse to drop the routine while away from home.
