Murray, Philip Evesonand Austin Walker.Throughout the spring and into the summer of 2021 Christians from theUK and beyond were tuning in to a series of online interviews each Sundayevening called Before They Leave The Stage. The interviews featured retiredpastors, and one evangelist, from England, Scotland and Wales, in their 70s,80s and 90s. The interviews were transmitted through the YouTube Channelof the Heath Evangelical Church, Cardiff.Convinced that God was in this series, it was the desire of the interviewersthat these testimonies be heard far and wide. The result is this book which itis hoped will extend the reach of their stories for God’s glory.Each interview covers background history, conversion, call to service, blessingsand difficulties in the work, advice, and reflections on the need of the hour.Of the eighteen men interviewed, at the time of publication one has already‘left the stage’ and gone to glory. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Keith Batstone andAlun Ebenezer are father and son-in-law.Keith is an elder at the Heath Evangelical Church in Cardiff. He is married to Kate and they have four children and three grandchildren. Alun, originally from Wales, now lives in London. He is married to Lis and they have a son Jack who is studying at Nottingham University.
