Beginner Coaching with Edgar Lau New to track driving? This session is designed to build a strong, safe foundation from the ground up. Edgar will guide you through the fundamentals of car control, track awareness, and proper driving technique — at a pace that works for you. Your safety — and the safety of your car — is the top priority. Edgar's coaching philosophy is built around developing speed through control, not the other way around. You'll never be pushed beyond your limits, and every session is structured to keep both you and your vehicle protected while you build confidence on track. Eligibility Requirements: 0–3 track days of experience — this session is designed specifically for true beginners Must be registered in the Beginner run group for your HPDE event — this coaching package is only applicable for beginner run group participants If you have more than 3 days of track experience or are registered in an intermediate or advanced run group, please see our Intermediate or Advanced Coaching options.
