Our Beginner Course we offer is an introduction into becoming an ethical and respectful hunter. The aim is to give you the foundations and direction to take the next steps in your hunting journey. The Beginner Course is set out over 2 days, from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. The course is designed around practical in-field learning, where you will be required to get hands on in the whole process, from spotting and stalking deer, to butchering and packing meat out of the mountains. Being that it is a beginner course, you will not be physically hunting yourself, but will be right beside our guides doing every part except the pulling of a trigger. This is to ensure all animals are taken quickly and ethically. There will be plenty of time for you get on our archery range and send a bunch of arrows at our 3D targets, get measured up for your first Bow, or get advice on rifle hunting & gear. The idea of the course is to provide you the best experienced based learning and information possible to become a responsible and respectful hunter. At the end of the course you will be able to take home a bunch of amazing wild meat (Deer and Goat). The property is strictly 4x4 access only. If you have your own 4x4 you're more than welcome to bring it to our cabin, however some experience in off roading will definitely be required, as the tracks can be difficult to navigate. The Friday afternoon of the course you will meet our guides between 5-6pm* at our front gate, they will then either ferry you up in the Utes, or you may drive your own 4x4 vehicle. The trip into the cabin from the front gate is around 45minutes, so it is important to arrive at the set time, as we only do 1 trip up. In order to maintain the high standards of our courses and the timely scheduling of our guides and staff, we have established the following cancellation policy: If you cancel your booking 30 days or more prior to the course start date, we will refund 50% of your payment. If you cancel your booking less than 14 days prior to the course start date, your payment will be forfeited in full. If we cancel the course due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness or other factors beyond our control, we will provide you with a full refund. Please note that any refunds will be made to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to process.
