One-Time Class | Beginner Friendly | Backyard Studio in Austin Interested in learning how to throw on the pottery wheel and get a little muddy! This one time class is a quick intro to the pottery wheel! All in one class for throwing and learning the basics of the studio and tools. It will be quick and dirty! The class includes 6-8 lbs. of clay (Armadillo Cinco Blanco mid-fire clay), tools, dip glaze, and firings. Students are asked to bring a water bottle for hydration and an old towel for cleaning up. All other materials will be provided. This class is only available to students 18 years and up. Includes:- All clay and tools- Instruction + one-two fired/glazed pieces- Small class size for personal attention Location: Backyard studio in the heart of Austin TX 7503 Delafield Ln, Austin TX 78752 Good to know: Dress for mess! Bring water bottles, aprons provided. Other Important Information: On street parking is available. Report any problems or concerns immediately to your instructor. A bathroom is available for use. Only students enrolled in classes may sign up for the open studio time. Ask before you use a piece of equipment that you aren’t familiar with. No smoking in or outside of the studio. Because of space and liability issues, guests will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the property Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to 10 days prior to the start of class, students receive a full refund (minus a $50 administrative fee).
