Ready to take your garment sewing to the next level? The Ashton Top is a fantastic project for confident beginner garment sewists looking to grow their skills and gain confidence working with garment construction techniques. This A-line, sleeveless top features bust darts, a faced hem, and clean neckline and armhole finishes. Choose between a hip-length or cropped style depending on your vibe! While the silhouette is simple and approachable, the construction offers just the right amount of challenge to help you level up without feeling overwhelmed. By the end of class, you'll have a versatile handmade top and a better understanding of garment finishing techniques that you can apply to future projects. Perfect for those who have a few sewing projects under their belt and are ready to push their skills a little further. You'll need to buy fabric at least 1 week prior to class to allow time for washing and other prep. You'll arrive to class with your fabric pieces already cut out, and interfacing applied (if needed).
