Sew your own skirt!Ready to dip your toes into garment sewing? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! You’ll learn how to sew a simple and stylish skirt, no pattern required. Just a little math and some fabric magic! Your finished skirt will feature an elastic waist back (for max comfort), flat front (for max style), side slit (for max ventilation), and yes, it has pockets! It’s comfy, customizable, and just in time for that fleeting Seattle summer. Whether this is your first garment or you're brushing up on basics, you’ll leave class with a wearable piece and the confidence to keep sewing.Class Duration: 4 hours Students Bring: Fabric and coordinating thread for your skirt. 1.5" wide waistband elastic Fabric Required: You will need 2-4 yds of fabric depending on the width and size.
