We offer one Beginner Tunisian Crochet class every month, from 4-6pm! ** Exception due to Brooklyn Yarn Crawl, April class meets Sunday, April 26, 3-5pm. **This is one 2-hour class, not a series of classes--pick one session that works with your schedule.Class open to students 18 years and older.If you've been intrigued by this technique, now's your chance to get started with a simple spring scarf! Tunisian Crochet is a hybrid technique that creates a dense woven fabric with a look similar to knit fabric but using crochet mechanics. Students will learn to cast on, the basic stitch and how to finish their project.Materials: Two hanks of worsted weight yarn and a tunisian crochet hook. Students get a 10% discount on class supplies.Open to students 18 and over.Cancellation/refund policy: No refunds will be offered within 1 week of class. Cancellations prior to one week before class are eligible for store credit. Cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee and your store credit will be the balance of your class fee. Your credit is not eligible for refund. Classes do not include individual Make-up sessions. If your teacher has offered to schedule a make-up class and you have scheduled to be there and do not show up, then your make-up class is forfeited and will not be re-scheduled. Visiting teachers' classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We run these classes based on enrollment...paying in advance for visiting teachers to travel and hold workshops and can not offer any credit for any reason.
