4-Week Introduction to Wheel Throwing Pottery Course This course is designed for complete beginners. Under expert tutor guidance, students will learn the basics of throwing, trimming, and glazing. Class sizes are limited to 8 students to ensure plenty of one-on-one support. Course Dates (Tuesdays 6pm – 9pm): October 28, 6pm - 9pm November 4, 6pm - 9pm November 11, 6pm - 9pm November 18, 6pm - 9pm Course Structure: Weeks 1–3: Basics of throwing and trimming Week 4: Guided glazing session What’s Included: 4 x three-hour classes 1 x 10kg bag of Walkers #10 clay Use of all equipment and tools (or bring your own) Glazes and firing costs Light refreshments each week Additional Info: Closed-toe footwear required Make-up classes are not guaranteed if you miss a session This course is a structured and supportive way to learn wheel-throwing pottery while developing your skills with professional tutor guidance.
