Ideal for those new to pottery, this workshop introduces you to the basics of wheel throwing. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or want to try something new, this hands-on session is the perfect starting point! Please note that all class times are listed in Vancouver Time (Pacific Time). Please double-check the time difference before booking or attending your class. Session Details: Duration: 2 hours, including up to 20 mins of clean-up time. Unlimited clay provided for use In this class, you'll learn how to create your own wheel throwing cup and bowl with our step-by-step guidance. Each participant can take home two finished pieces; additional pieces are $15 each Please trim your nails and keep your hair tiedback. The minimum age to participate in this class is 15 years old and above. Experience the Process:Your creations will dry slowly in a controlled environment before undergoing their first firing (bisque fire). We’ll then glaze your pieces with care and prepare them for the second firing (glaze fire). This process takes 4–6 weeks. If it’s been over 4 weeks, feel free to reach out for an update.
