For everybody, running the first marathon is a daunting task, but when done something to be immensely proud of. This program is designed to get you there and make the experience fun. A 26 week training program designed by two-time Australia Olympian, Chris Wardlaw. Chris competed in the 1976 and 1980 Olympics at 10,000mtrs and Marathon respectively and has personal bests of 2:11:55, 28:15.6 , and 13:34.2 at Marathon, 10,000m and 5,000m respectively. Participants are expected to commit up to 5 hours per week of mixed distance and pace sessions with a bit of cross training to help recovery.
