In this three-hour workshop, you’ll gain the essential skills and confidence needed to use your sewing machine effectively. We’ll start with a guided tour of your machine’s anatomy, exploring key components such as the bobbin winder, tension wheel, and feed dogs. You will learn how to wind and insert a bobbin, thread the machine correctly, and use a needle threader with confidence. Once set up, we will cover thread tension, seam allowances, backstitching, and changing direction while sewing. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with the practical skills to sew safely and accurately.
