In my new course, I will be focusing on all things painting and taping! I will be showing you exactly what I do to create the striking geometric patterns on my statement pieces of furniture. You will be given a wooden box to create your own stunning masking tape designs on. The course is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to tackle bigger furniture projects at home and you’ll leave knowing exactly what equipment to use to ensure a perfect finish every time. I will also discuss the sourcing of suitable furniture, the prep you must do to achieve a professional look and what finishes can be used to ensure it is long lasting. As well as learning all these skills, you will also have a beautiful, hand painted box to keep your treasured items in. They make wonderful gifts as you can make up your own little gin kits, make up boxes or kid’s toy boxes. All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
