Enter a new dimension of the sport of fly fishing by learning to tie your own flies. In our Beginning Fly Tying Classes, you will learn about the materials and tools used to tie flies and the necessary fundamentals for tying streamer, nymph and dry flies. Learn the proper techniques, tricks and tips from expert instructors with decades of tying and teaching experience. Patterns learned will vary from class to class but include popular fly patterns commonly used in our local area and will include streamers, nymphs and dry flies. Participants will need the following tools for this class. Fly Tying Vise Bobbin Scissors Whip Finish Tool Hackle Pliers Hair Stacker All tools and vises are available for purchase at our store or on our web catalog. All materials for tying the flies will be provided.
