Have you always wanted to knit but didn’t know where to start? This warm, beginner-friendly 2-part class is the perfect way to begin your knitting journey. Whether you’ve never pic ked up needles or need a gentle refresher, we’ll guide you from the first stitch to your first finished project. Over the course of two sessions, you’ll learn: How to cast on The knit stitch + the purl stitch How to bind off and finish a project Foundational techniques that will set you up for future projects You’ll leave class with the confidence to knit your first handmade piece—and a new creative ritual to return to again and again. Materials needed: One skein of Malabrigo Worsted Size 8 or 9 needles (either 24” circular or straight needles)All materials are available for purchase at the shop before class begins.
