I created this design of Beijing to celebrate my visit to China in 2016. As it was part of a big Asia business trip squeezed into a busy work schedule, I was there for just over 24 hours and saw hardly any of the marvels that I drew. :-( My favourite part of the design is the miniature portrait of Mao Tse Tsung that adorns the Forbidden Palace. I also loved drawing the squiggles of the Birds Nest stadium... full of life and energy, like the athletes that performed in the arena. :-) Julia's vision of Beijing makes a cute and collectable postcard and is also available as a beautiful Art Print for your home.
