Natural stone Belgian Coticule Yellow Coticule is mined in the Ardennes mountains in Belgium and is one of the most well-known natural whetstones in the world. Finish range JIS 8000–12000 Coticule is an ultra-fine natural stone with estimated grit approximately JIS 8000–12000. Abrasive action Garnet slurry During sharpening, slurry with garnets is released from the surface, increasing the abrasive action of the grinding compound. How to use Use with water only Belgian Coticule should be used with water as a lubricant. Wet the surface before sharpening; there is no need to immerse the stone. Keep slurry on the stone surface during sharpening. The more garnets are released, the more abrasive the compound becomes.
