When you need reliable flow control in hydronic systems, the Belimo B309 Valve is a solid choice. This 3-way ball valve HVAC component features a 1/2" NPT connection and a 0.8 Cv rating, engineered for precise modulation. Its A-port delivers an equal percentage flow characteristic, while the B-port is modified for constant common port flow, ensuring stable system performance. Constructed with a nickel-plated forged brass body and a stainless steel ball and stem, this valve is built to handle demanding conditions. It's compatible with chilled or hot water applications up to 250°F (120°C) and can manage glycol solutions up to 60%. With a robust 600 psi body pressure rating and a 200 psi close-off pressure, the B309 minimizes leakage, maintaining system integrity. This characterized control valve (CCV) is ideal for air handling units, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV box reheat coils, and bypass loops, offering versatile mixing or diverting functionality. Key Benefits: Precise flow control with equal percentage (A-port) and modified constant common port (B-port) characteristics. Durable construction: nickel-plated forged brass body with stainless steel ball and stem for longevity. Broad media compatibility: handles chilled or hot water up to 250°F and up to 60% glycol solutions. High pressure ratings: 600 psi body and 200 psi close-off for reliable operation. Low leakage rates (0% for A-AB,
