The Bell 222UT is a twin-engine light utility helicopter that was a variation of the original Bell 222. The "UT" stands for "Utility Twin", and this version was designed with a skid landing gear instead of the retractable wheels of the standard 222. This allowed for a higher fuel capacity and reduced empty weight. It was powered by the same engines as the Bell 222B, the Honeywell (Lycoming) LTS101-750C1 turboshaft engines. 75 Bell 222UT helicopters were built.
