The Bell 47G is a light helicopter produced by Bell Helicopter. It's a significant aircraft in aviation history, recognized for being an upgraded version of the Bell 47D1 and the first helicopter of the 47 series capable of carrying two passengers in addition to the pilot. It holds the distinction of being the first helicopter certified for civilian use in the United States, receiving certification on March 8, 1946.
