A ceramic mug with a cinched waist, slip-cast in South Korea from iron-flecked clay and finished matte. The curve through the middle is functional as much as formal: it gives the hand a natural place to close around the cup. It comes in three muted tones. Salty cream is the lightest, a warm off-white where the iron speckle shows most. Vanilla beige sits a shade warmer and softer than that, closer to a creamy yellow. Mocha black goes cool and deep enough to read almost black, and the speckle nearly disappears in it.Holds 250 milliliters, the size of a full coffee or a generous tea. The mouth is wide and the interior smooth, so it rinses clean.Because each cup is slip-cast and finished by hand, small differences are normal: faint mold seams, a slightly oval rim, the odd iron speck or pinhole in the glaze. None of it affects use.
