Custom-made from a teardrop shaped bellows, this coffee table adds a bit of industrial style to any room. The bellows is constructed of leather accordion sides secured to the upper, lower, and center boards. Brace planks are still attached to the upper and lower boards. The nose of the bellows has a metal nozzle. A hand-forged hanger is connected to the rear upper board. Marked with the town names of Buura (Austria) and Bruxelles (Brussels, Belguim) helps date the bellows. Burra was a thriving mining town from 1851 to 1877, when the mine closed and population and business shrank dramatically. Three metal legs support the bellows.
