This practical and aesthetical accessory can become the „finishing touch“ of your kit, putting it all nicely together. For inspiration, we took mostly pouches found in the Netherlands, mostly because those have been thoroughly documented. The animal motifs that decorate the bags are based on the 12th century mosaics from the Palazzo dei Normanni in Palermo, Sicily. We make and sew the pouches by hand in Prague, Czech Republic. As for the used materials, we went for 2mm thick premium cowhide leather. Two types of buckles used for fastening the closing strap are made from cast brass and the shapes are based on historical evidence. We chose two classic models for you, a simple and voluminous rectangular model and the typical kidney shaped pouch (with two additional variations of the girdle loops – pointed and angled designs). The pouches can be ordered with six types of decoration (plain, wavy, lozenged, skeletons, birds or lions) and in seven colours (black, brown, red, light green, greenish blue, yellow, dark blue). The belt loop can fit any belt up to the width of 5,5cm. The veg tanned leather we use is a natural material. It can have slightly uneven coloration of the surface and noticeable differences in hues between products, even those produced at the same time.
