A sterling silver ring with a hand carved pattern design and scrolling claws that are integral to the ring body, holding a 'Tigers Eye' gemstone 18mm x 13mm. Tiger eye is quartz th at contains oriented fibres of crocidolite that have been replaced by silica. Tiger eye was thought to be all seeing due to its chatoyancy (a vertical luminescent band like that of a cat's eye). We love that this regal looking ring is given an ethereal quality by this interesting gemstone. Fable Ore's signature style is a simple series of lines and geometric shapes that create an interwoven feeling of depth, evoking runic symbols and the spirit of patterns from ancient cultures. These markings are inscribed over smooth contours and framed by borders that are reminiscent of Celtic panels and heraldic armour. Our silver jewellery is oxidised so the pattern lines stand out.
