Ben Ebert started playing drums when he was just 6 years old, with pencilsand a plastic lego box, after growing up watching the Cal Marching Banddrumline in Berkeley, CA during college football and basketball games. Hebegan studying with drummer Rich Fongheiser just a year later at age 7.In his middle and high school years, Ben performed with multiple jazzgroups, which included a performance at the renowned Monterey JazzFestival, and was the recipient of multiple awards from the InternationalAssociation for Jazz Education (IAJE) as well as Downbeat Magazine.After moving to Los Angeles for college, Ben joined the USC Trojan MarchingBand drumline, performing on snare drum at the LA Memorial Coliseum for USCfootball games.Also during his time with the drumline, Ben performed with multiple actsincluding: Odesza at Coachella, Jack Black at the Dolby Theater, actressZendaya on the Disney Channel, and Questlove on the Tonight Show.After college, Ben joined the alternative rock band Trapdoor Social,embarking on multiple national tours and recording a full-length album withthe band.
