Original etching with hand colouring in gouache on wove paper. Signed in pencil, an artist's proof aside from the limited edition of 50 (annotated 'artist's copy' in pencil on the reverse). Printed by Francois Lafranca, Locarno with their blindstamp lower left and published by Ganymed Original Editions and Marlborough Fine Art, London. Referenced in Lullin, 80. Provenance: given as a gift by Ben Nicholson to a visiting lecturer in Strasbourg in 1989, with full details in writing, which will be included with the print. In very good original condition, with only the very lightest traces of handling. A truly beautiful Ben Nicholson etching, made absolutely unique by the addition of the artist's hand colouring in red and black. Show more
