The BR Guitars Build Credit Program provides a structured way to move from an idea to a completed instrument while funding your build over time. Every dollar of Build Credit is applied directly toward the purchase price of your instrument, with no interest or finance charges. Start With a Conversation Every project begins with a no-fee, no-commitment consultation. We'll discuss the model, materials, hardware, electronics, finish and features you're considering and establish an initial estimated price. If you decide to move forward, a 10% Project Reservation officially starts your project with BR Guitars. Build Toward Design Approval From there, you can continue adding Build Credits at your own pace. When your balance reaches 50% of the current quoted price, we move into Design Approval. Final specifications, design drawings and a 3D rendering are prepared for your review. Once approved, your final price and production schedule are established and your build receives its production slot. Your Guitar Moves Forward With Your Balance The remaining milestones follow the actual build: 60% — FabricationBody and neck construction begins. 80% — Finish & CompletionYour instrument moves into finishing, final assembly and completion. 100% — Ready for DeliveryFinal payment is completed before pickup or shipment. One Program. One Instrument. Every Dollar Goes Toward the Build. Build Credits aren't financing and there are no interest charges. They're simply a way to fund your BR Guitar progressively while working through the same collaborative design and production process used for every custom instrument Flexibility While You Plan. Commitment When We Build. Your initial 10% Project Reservation secures your project with BR Guitars and is non-refundable. Any additional Build Credits you add between 10% and 50% remain refundable while we refine your instrument and work toward Design Approval. Once your build reaches the 50% Design Approval milestone and you approve the final design, all accumulated and future Build Credits become non-refundable as your production slot is scheduled and we begin committing resources to your instrument.
