Ben the Wombat I met Ben when he was in the care of Sydney Wildlife Rescue.He dreams of competing in race walking at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Ben has been campaigning for motor vehicles to be banned in Australia. He thinks humans are all lazy and we should walk instead of drive. He doesn’t understand why we all need to rush around! Ben aspires to have a human as a pet. Having observed human behaviour, he’s very confused as to why most people aren’t kept on a leash, to save them from themselves!
