A stunning, wrought iron garden bench made in the Boulton & Paul Ltd. Foundry in Norwich around June 1897, with rivetted construction. It's in perfect condition considering it is 1 30 years old, complete with a patina of rust and old paint. All the rivets are sound as are the metal slats. The maker's badge is intact to the front. The curved seats and seat backs are a distinct feature of this 6' bench together with the scrolled armrests and feet. The details of the bench No. 22A are in the Boulton &Paul book 'Catalogue no. 97' produced in 1898, a copy of which will be given to the buyer upon purchase.
