This tooling package contains premium quality tooling for a LittleMachineShop.com HiTorque bench lathes as well as other bench lathes. 1/2" keyless drill chuck (1660) is mounted on a 2MT arbor for the mini lathe. The rated capacity is 1/32" to 1/2". No chuck key is required with this self-tightening design. The Jacobs keyless chuck is made from hardened tool steel to ensure accuracy and extended life. Runout of this chuck is 0.005" (0.13 mm) or less. A #33 Jacobs taper arbor accompanies the chuck (2955). Indexable turning tools (4132) are made by Arthur R. Warner Co. in the USA. These precision tool holder kits use carbide inserts and include three styles of tools, AR right hand, E Neutral (threading tool - 60-degree angle), and AL left hand. Kit includes three tool holders, three TCMT-21.51 inserts, one extra TCMT-21.52 carbide insert, one extra Torx screw, and one wrench. 1/2" Indexable Boring Bar, 1 HSS Triangle Insert, 6" long. The minimum bore diameter for this is 0.760". The boring bar takes TPMT-222 or TPMW-222 inserts (1721). The boring bar is made by Arthur R. Warner Co. in the USA. The premium P1 parting blade is 1/16" x 1/2" x 4-1/2" and made from M2 HSS by Arthur R. Warner Co. in the USA. These T-shape parting blades provide great side clearance (1728). Center Drills: Five sizes combined drills and countersinks made of ground high speed M42 cobalt steel for good wear resistance. Sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with 60-degree counter sinks (4859).
