Benchmark Recommends SpeakON® Connectors The Benchmark AHB2 power amplifier and the Benchmark SMS1 speakers are equipped with SpeakON connectors. These products also have binding posts, but we highly recommend using the SpeakON connectors. When conducting THD tests on the AHB2 power amplifier, we found that binding posts and associated wire terminations often created measurable distortion while the SpeakON® connectors provided consistent distortion-free results. Order these connectors and upgrade you existing cables! Benchmark also sells top-quality speaker cables featuring Canare speaker wire. Neutrik® SpeakON® Connectors Neutrik® SpeakON® connectors are the industry-standard for demanding professional applications. These high-current loudspeaker connectors offer extremely reliable and robust connections and include a reliable locking system. They feature solid contacts with screw-type terminals that include a sleeve to provided protection where the screw contacts stranded speaker wires. The terminals also offer solder termination. The NL2FXX is an updated and improved version of the NL2FX. The NL4FXX is an updated and improved version of the NL4FX.
