"Beneath The Waves"Collage Sarah Jackson Sarah’s immense artistic creation has (rather suitably) been crafted using recycled surf magazines, with hundreds of flecks of eco-paper pi eced together to produce the textured and life-like humpback whale and its calf, while beautiful deep blue inks have been washed over the canvas to create the ocean backdrop. The multi-media piece artfully plays with movement, using carefully-placed paper cuttings to convey water rippling from a smooth flick of the tail. It’s easy to get lost in this energetic artwork, blissfully falling into the shimmering palette of ocean blues and feeling in awe of such majestic creatures.
