General Information: These 3D Files were constructed from our very popular Beneditto 17 Guitar Plans files and 2D CNC files that we have in the plan section of our site. You will f ind that these files will provide a top level of convenience to customers who possess a CNC router, or access to CNC routing services. We offer our Beneditto 17 files either as a complete set or individual pieces (4) pieces total, if you don’t need the entire guitar. For instance if you only want the Neck, you can purchase the files to mill the neck. Unsure if these files will work on your CNC system? Note that all hardware including tuners, frets, purfling, bindings, electronics, tailpiece, bridge and screws, are not a part of these files and are shown for illustration purposes. All these 3D CNC files are formatted in STEP format (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data). Most 3D CNC controller software should handle this popular formatting. STL files available upon request. The available files are detailed below: Beneditto 17 Carved Top & Back Set: This file consists of (2) files. 1. The top plate is contoured to the proper shape including underside carving. Note that additional fine-tuning will be required to meet each luthier's needs. Top Braces are included, contoured to the top and ready for final rounding. Note: Top does not include any geometry for bindings, purfling or soundhole trim. All components in the file are separate objects for easy manipulation. Note there are (2) top objects in this file - one with f-holes and one without f-holes. 2. The second file is the carved back object, which is similar to the top in size and shape and underside carving. Beneditto 17 Neck Set: This file will give you a smooth 3D file of the neck contour, heel contour, mortise and tenon joint attachment to the body, complete peg head contour, tuner holes and peghead slots. Also included is the headpiece trim, truss rod cover and matching headblock to the neck dovetail joint. Beneditto 17 Fretboard Set: This file will contain the proper fretboard outline perimeter fretboard recesses for the MOP Inlays and fret slots for the proper scale. (.023"; .58mm wide). Provisions for purfling for the fretboard edges are not included. Note: Frets are shown for clarity and not included with the files. Beneditto 17 Accessories Set: The Accessories include the Finger Rest, & Compensating Bridge Beneditto 17 Complete: For a reduced price you will receive all the above files.
