You should absolutely skip all of your meals and use your per diems to buy one of these pedals. We found this badass brand called Benson that is our EXACT style. We've never found a brand like Benson where every pedal they make, we WOULD play. I mean, you walk by a store and see 50 guys who look exactly like you fighting over very complicated pedals, you go in. You go in. Benson calls this the Preamp because it is! The circuit is based on the Chimera 30 watt guitar amplifier, but substitutes FET transistors for the vacuum tubes. The result is an extremely amp-like and versatile clean boost/overdrive/fuzz pedal that imparts rich harmonics and a very musical EQ to your signal chain…truly a Chimera in a box!
