The Rich, creamy, balsamic, almond vanilla-like heart notes of Benzoin is cherished by perfumers. It has slight smoky, leather undertone. Use Benzoin essential oil, otherwise known as Benzoin Siam, to impart a vanilla aroma similar to, but certainly not equal to, our pure vanilla. It is commonly used as a fragrance fixative (anchor) in soap by reducing the evaporation of fragrance.
