Berbera Branca is a fig that originally comes from Portugal. The large figs can weigh in at over 80 grams. Berbera Branca figs have attractive skin in shades of green with purple blushing. The fruits are teardrop shaped. Berbera Branca figs have amber and red pulp that is very flavorful with a syrupy texture. This is a honey fig with a light and refreshing flavor. Tasters call the flavor sweet to very sweet, and light berry tones make it a subtle and complex flavor. Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December): We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March. **All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees. Rooted Cuttings(Spring): We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span.
