The Asteroid is a high quality, super bright tail light that mounts in seconds and guards your back as you navigate the cosmos. Designed in conjunction with the team at Portland Design Works (PDW), the new Bern Asteroid tail light mounts directly to all Bern helmets via the two small holes located in the rear of the helmet shell. The Asteroid is a micro-USB rechargeable helmet light with 3 light modes – flash, pulse and steady. The Asteroid light mount screws easily into the existing holes, providing a clean, integrated look and positioning the light for maximum visibility. The smaller hole in the rear of the helmet shell is for the peg on the light mount. Place it in the smaller hole and line up the given screw with the larger hole. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to secure the screw in place. To remove the light, simply slide it out from the mount. In addition, the Asteroid is compatible with a PDW seatpost mount, meaning you can easily transfer one light from our helmet to your seatpost and back.
