The Lore (Folklore): At the Eastern edge of Sweetbrier Woods, where the trees grow dark and tangled, the woodland creatures warn travelers never to pick the tempting berries that grow beneath its shadow. One day, a young herbalist ignored the warnings from the rabbit and a watchful owl and reached for a cluster of shimmering berries. All at once, the forest fell silent, a dark feeling crept into her soul. She fell backwards into the sunlight, scrambling away and leaving the mysterious berries untouched. Always remember this woodland lesson: when the creatures of the forest warn you, always listen. Some magic is not meant to be picked.
