A fresh, crunchy still red with blackberry and wild roses. A fantastic table wine — the red a sparkling winemaker wants to drink. Think Beaujolais with California sunshine.Vineyards: Pinot Noir from Carriger Vineyard (Sonoma), Gamay Noir from Nights in White Satin Vineyard (Napa Carneros), and Primitivo from Vittorio Vineyard (Redwood Valley). An unconventional California blend, but Pinot and Gamay have long been blended in Burgundy as vin de table. Carbonic Primitivo adds fresh and candied citrus.Winemaking: Whole-cluster carbonic maceration under CO₂ for one week, then crushed in situ and fermented on skins/stems for five days. Pressed slightly sweet, aged 8 months in neutral barrel, bottled without fining or filtration. Drink young, slightly chilled.Blend: 40% Pinot Noir · 40% Gamay Noir · 20% Primitivo · Vintage: 2024 · 12.5% ABV
