"Between The Flowers" stems from my childhood memory of my Omas garden , bursting with flowers, colours, sweet scents and the sound of bees. Like a lot of my work, this triptych ex plores the memory shaped by time, place and sensory experience. It represents memory as intimate fragments, moments and gestures, distilled and reimagined snippets of colour, light and atmosphere. Transient and impermanent in their nature, they are imbued with longing, desire and melancholy. Show more
