This 45 degree metal beveling router bit will work with any 1/4 inch shank wood router (corded or cordless), works on steel, aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, plastic, or wood. Avoid the need for a bulky air compressor, being constrained by air hoses or power cords. With a battery-powered router, you have the freedom to move around, whether you're a traveling welder, pipe fitter, or home hobbyist. Included with each fully assembled Beveling Bit, are (2) 45 degree replacement inserts and (1) replacement bearing. When paired with the Milwaukee M18, 5.0 amp hour battery, the router can provide approximately 45 minutes of continuous runtime while operating at 100% duty cycle under full load. We offer (2) different configurations of replacement inserts, sold separately. The standard 45 degree inserts are perfect for tasks requiring significant material removal and offer exceptional durability. The radius inserts are perfect for lighter tasks that don't require a 45 degree edge. The lifespan of this bit is shorter than that of the straight insert. The bevel radius is approximately, 1/32".
