Beyond Borders has been working with and nurturing Haitian metal artists in Croix-des-Bouquets for fifteen years. Their products are all made by hand by local Haitian artisans usin g recycled oil drums. This not only provides economic opportunity for the region but also creatively upcycles what would otherwise be a tremendous source of waste. These metal pieces are suitable for display both inside and outdoors. They have been coated by the artists with a gloss varnish.
