An injury cut short her early gymnastics career, and her own drive to excel ended her Division I volleyball career at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from college, Chelsey started working in the highly competitive world of sales, where she qualified for the President’s Club multiple times. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she took up hiking, which helped her connect with nature and herself. The tragedy on Mount Shasta has greatly affected her life and enhanced her personal growth.
