The specification field reads “Requires 2xG9 Lamp”. The prose on the same sheet reads “Requires : 1 x G9 lamp”. ⭐ The range points to one. Every other A/B pair in this ceramic family shares a lamp count and differs only in which way the light comes out — the BF-2607A and BF-2607B both take one G9, the BF-2608A and BF-2608B both take two. The BF-2601A takes one. ⭐ So two independent things agree: the sheet’s own prose, and the way the rest of the range is built. Both say one G9. ⛔ We are still not publishing it as a fact, because the consequence falls on you: a buyer who orders one globe and needs two has a half-lit fitting on the wall and another trip to make. ✅ Ask us before you order globes and we will open one. Questions How many globes do I need to buy?Ask us first — the datasheet says both. Our reading is one, on two independent grounds: the sheet's prose says so, and every other A/B pair in this range shares a lamp count between the two versions — the BF-2607A and B both take one, the BF-2608A and B both take two — while the BF-2601A takes one. But a buyer who orders one globe and needs two is stuck, so we will open a fitting and confirm rather than have you guess. Does the lamp count change the wiring or the load?No. It is a hard-wired 240V fitting either way, and with LED G9s at about 4W each the difference between one lamp and two is 4W — nothing your circuit will notice. The A is 150mm wide with a 125mm projection and takes one G9; this one is 120mm square, 150mm tall, with a 120mm projection. The A reads as a wider, shallower block on the wall; this reads as a taller, more compact one. The lamp count is where the two listings disagree, which is what the note above is about. Do I have to paint it?No — the raw ceramic is a deliberate look and many are left as they arrive. It is porous until painted or sealed, so it marks more easily. If it sits where hands reach, finish it. Can it go in a bathroom?No. Raw ceramic is porous until painted and the fitting is rated for indoor dry use only. Why is the warranty only one year?That is the term Domus gives its imported ceramic range, not an error on this listing — most of this catalogue is three years. A ceramic shell with replaceable lamps has little in it to fail; chipping is the real risk.
